Looking for the best Patek Philippe Calatrava homage watches?
Well, I don’t blame you at all!
Patek Philippe is probably one of the most well known (and expensive) watch brands in the world.
The Patek Philippe Calatrava is probably one of their more “affordable” entry level watches.
BUT that doesn’t mean it’s cheap. Amazingly, even the entry level Calatrava could set you back over 5 figures!
But don’t worry…there are a ton of watches on the market that are great alternatives to this still expensive watch.
Here are the 11 best Patek Philippe Calatrava homage watches that won’t break your bank.

Here are the best Patek Philippe Calatrava alternative watches in the $100 range.
1. Seiko SGEG97P1 Dress Watch
Click Here to get the Seiko SGEG97P1!
If you are familiar with my blog you will know that I absolutely LOVE Seiko watches.
Not only are they a storied watch brand, but they make super high quality and surprisingly affordable watches.
If you are looking for a super affordable ($100 range) alternative to the Patek Philipe Calatrava, then the Seiko SGEG97P1 is a great option for you.
Not only is this a great classic dress watch, but it is also very easy on the eyes. The black markers and hands contrast very nicely against the white background of the dial.
The watch also has a date window at 3 o’clock.
There’s nothing overly complicated with this watch and its simplicity really is the crown jewel here.
Pros:
- Great watch that looks similar to the Patek Philippe Calatrava for around $100
- Great dial size (39 mm) and 100 meters (330 feet) of water resistance
Cons:
- Japanese quartz movement
2. BRIGADA Minimalist Dress Watch
Click Here to get this Brigada watch!
If you’re looking for a minimalist watch that’s very similar to the Calatrava, this Brigada watch is perfect for you.
I love how simple the dial is. It only has the minute and hour hands along with an indication for the date.
The great thing about the Brigada Calatrava homage is that it comes in many different colors from black to rose gold to white and it has many straps (including leather and nato straps).
As a result, it’s super easy to match this watch to your wardrobe while still maintaining the Patek Philippe Calatrava look a like!
Pros:
- Super cheap watch that looks very similar to the Patek Calatrava (less than $50 bucks)!
- Lots of colors and different straps to choose from.
Cons:
- Quartz movement
- My only complaint with this watch is that it doesn’t come with a seconds hand. But if you like minimalist watches, it probably won’t be a big concern for you.
3. Feice FM201 Calatrava Homage
Click Here to get this watch!
Okay this is probably one of the closest watch homages to the Patek Philippe Calatrava.
First of all, it is absolutely beautiful (especially the dial).
The hour, minute, and second hands are all blue, which contrast nicely against the white dial.
Instead of a large sweeping seconds hand, you have a separate smaller dial for the seconds hand – just like the Calatrava!
There is also a date function at 3 o’clock.
My only knockback on the watch is the Arabic numerals on the dial. I think it would look much better with Roman numerals or no numbers at all.
Oh…and I almost forgot to mention this watch has an automatic movement! Pretty amazing if you ask me…
Pros:
- Pretty much the closest homage watch to the Patek Calatrava you will get at this price point
- Beautiful dial with a small dial for the seconds hand (just like the Calatrava)
- Automatic movement
Cons:
- Watch is not very water resistant

Frederique Constant always makes super classy dress watches at affordable prices.
And their homage to the Patek Philippe Calatrava is no exception!
This watch is amazing. This is one of the only great look-a-likes to the Calatrava that has a rose gold dial.
The dial is super simple. All it has is the hour, minute, and date functions. The seconds hand is in a smaller dial at 6 o’clock.
I also love the crown of the watch. It’s really elegant.
The watch comes with a leather strap that will look great with a suit or a more casual look.
Once you have this bad boy on your wrist, many people will mistake it for a Patek pretty frequently!
Pros:
- Beautiful rose gold alternative to the Calatrava.
- Beautiful black leather strap that will look elegant on your wrist
Cons:
- Quartz movement
5. Frederique Constant Slimline Small Seconds Watches

Okay, they call this a “ladies” watch on Amazon, but the size of the watch is actually 37 mm in diameter, which would actually classify it as a unisex watch.
If you have a smaller wrist, but still want a watch that looks very similar to the Patek Calatrava, then this Frederique Constant watch will get the job done.
First of all, the watch is very elegant. The dial is covered with a nice rose gold finishing. It comes in a sexy leather strap.
The hour and minute hands are very elegant. And the small seconds hand looks exactly like the one on the Patek Philippe Calatrava!
And best of all, this watch comes in MANY different colors from silver to white to rose gold. So you don’t have to compromise to make it match your outfits!
Pros:
- Super great homage to the Calatrava at an affordable price point
- Many different colors to choose from
Cons:
- This is a smaller watch (diameter of 37 mm)
- Quartz movement
6. ROCOS Automatic Calatrava Homage

Rocos is known to make some pretty amazing replica watches of well known watch brands.
So it is not a surprise that they would make a replica watch of the Calatrava.
This watch is very close to the Calatrava in almost every regard. The hands are super elegant.
The small seconds hand is at 6 o’clock.
And the watch only has indicators for the hours/minutes – no Arabic or Roman numerals.
It is very much a minimalist watch, but has a lot of character and will surely have people mistaking it for a Patek.
And best of all? It comes on a nice black leather strap and is an automatic movement!
Pros:
- Super great replica of the Patek Philippe Calatrava that is also an automatic movement!
- Super minimal watch with a small seconds hand
- Comes in 4 different colors
Cons:
- Not very water resistant (only 30 meters)

This Tissot watch is probably one of my favorites on this list for many reasons.
First of all, it is a super elegant dress watch.
The hands on the watch are some of the best I have ever seen (especially at this price point).
Second of all, I LOVE the roman numerals. There’s just something about roman numerals on a dress watch that make it so classy and handsome when it’s on your wrist.
Finally, this is a swiss automatic watch movement. To get a swiss automatic watch movement at this price and have it look very similar to the Calatrava is a hard feat to accomplish!
This is a great and affordable alternative to the Calatrava.
Pros:
- Really elegant watch with a Swiss automatic movement
- Great case size (39 mm) for most men
Cons:

8. Seiko Presage Automatic: SSA387
Click Here to get this watch!
Wow, that’s pretty much all I need to say about this watch!
If you love gold watches, then you will love the Seiko SSA387!
There’s a lot to love about this watch. It comes with a beautiful Japanese automatic movement.
The main hands (seconds, hour, and minute) are all beautiful. I love this style of hands from the Presage line from Seiko.
There’s also a small dial for the date indicator. It’s a lot more unique than the normal type of date window at 3 o’clock so it is a conversation starter for sure.
If you need a watch that is an affordable alternative to the Calatrava, then the Seiko SSA387 is perfect!
Pros:
- Great gold watch alternative to the Calatrava
- Japanese automatic movement with a small dial date function (super unique and rare)
Cons:
- Power reserve indicator looks a bit weird on the watch imo, but that’s really the only knock I have against this watch.
9. Tissot Black Leather Watch T119.405.16.037.00
Click Here to get this watch!
This is a really good “sport” watch homage for the Calatrava. In fact, it really reminds me of an aviator watch for some reason.
Let’s start off with the watches’s dial. It comes with a full set of Arabic numerals. I actually like the font here and I think it looks really nice.
The watch also comes with a small seconds hand, which I love a lot.
The only knock on the watch is that it comes with a quartz movement. But at this price point and given how great the watch looks, I don’t think it’s a deal breaker for me.
Pros:
- Great alternative to the Patek Philipp Calatrava at an affordable price point
- Simplistic dial with a nice leather strap
Cons:
- Quartz movement
10. Raymond Weil 54661-Stc-00300 Quartz Watch
Click Here to get this watch!
The last two watches on this list are actually both Raymond Weil watches.
They are very similar. One has a small seconds hand and the other one doesn’t.
This particular watch doesn’t have a small seconds hand (or any seconds hand for that matter).
It is a very simple watch with just the date (at 3 o’clock), the minutes, and the hour hand.
The watch is very classy in that the dial is black and white. It also comes with a nice black leather strap.
The only complaint I have about this Calatrava alternative is that it is a quartz movement (especially at this price point).
Pros:
- Beautiful and simple dial for a dress watch
- Classy roman numerals around the watch
Cons:
- Quartz movement
- Not very water resistant
11. Raymond Weil Men’s 9578-STC-00300 Tradition White Roman Numerals Dial Watch
Click Here to get this watch!
Okay, this is the last watch on the list!
This is my favorite of the two Raymond Weil watches on the list because this one has the iconic small seconds hand at 6 o’clock.
What makes this watch unique and what I REALLY love is the out-sized date indication at 12 o’clock. It is super easy to read and really pops out of your wrist. As a result, it’s a great conversation starter.
The watch also has blue hands for the minute, seconds, and hours, which I really love. It’s super easy to read it against the white dial.
Overall, this is a great alternative to the Patek Calatrava at a super affordable price.
Pros:
- Small seconds hand and out sized date function at 12 o’clock
- Beautiful blue hands – an overall great homage watch
Cons:
- Quartz movement
