I just can’t help it. The watch just looks so classy and beautiful. I love the ridged rotating bezel. I love the beautiful dark blue dial and the gold touch on the bracelet.
This is truly a watch for powerful and successful men.
Unfortunately, the Rolex Submariner comes at a price tag of $7,000+.
That’s why I did a ton of research into homages to the Submariner. In my research, I came across the Henry Jay Specialty Aquamaster.
This watch pretty much looks like the Rolex Submariner down to the tiniest detail. Best of all? The Henry Jay Aquamaster costs less than $100!

Henry Jay Aquamaster: the basics
The Henry Jay Aquamaster is a diver’s watch.
It has all of the features of a diver’s watch, including the rotating ridged bezel.
It also has a date feature (although it can be hard to adjust sometimes).
But I would say my favorite thing about this watch is incredible color scheme. The blue dial and bezel is just gorgeous!
The white minute/hour/second hands are just beautiful. And the gold down the middle of the band is just classy.
There’s not much to hate about this watch as it can really elevate your appearance!

My experience with the Henry Jay Specialty Aquamaster
I first bought my Henry Jay Specialty Aquamaster about a year ago.
Since then I’ve worn it to the office numerous times and taken a few girls out with this bad boy.
This watch pretty much impresses everyone. I’ve had more people than I can count compliment me on this watch…which is pretty strange as most people don’t compliment men about the clothes/jewelry they wear.
Regardless, I’m very happy with this watch. I always feel a lot more confident and in charge when I’m wearing this thing.
In fact, I always feel a bit “naked” when I forget to wear this watch while I’m out!
Here are my favorite things about the Henry Jay Specialty Aquamaster:
1. Looks and feels expensive like a Rolex Submariner
This thing really does look like a Rolex Submariner. I’ve had this watch for almost a year now and I can’t tell you how many people have asked me if this was a Rolex!
In fact, I’ve had some people ask to take a picture of it so they can find the brand!
As I mentioned before, the color scheme on the blue/gold version of the Henry Jay Aquamaster is simply a masterpiece.
It looks like a $5,000+ watch…but it costs just less than $100!
2. Perfect size (40 mm)
I’m a big snob when it comes to watch sizes. I have a very particular wrist, so I don’t want the watch looking too big or too small.
At 40 mm, this watch is the right fit for me. It fits perfectly and I’m sure it’ll fit great for many of you as well.
3. High quality watch
The first thing I noticed about the watch was how high quality the material is. The stainless steel feels expensive and heavy.
The band is incredibly smooth even when it comes into contact or if you sweat.
And the watch is incredibly accurate as well, so you’ll never be late!
Here are some things I don’t like about the Henry Jay Specialty Aquamaster:
1. It can be hard to adjust the date:
One of my biggest complaints with this watch is crown always seems like it’s stuck. It’s very hard to open the crown to adjust the date (or the time).
It always takes me a few minutes to perform this task when it should take less than a minute. Oh well, at this price point and quality, I’ll take this one minor inconvenience!
2. Watch doesn’t light up in the dark very well
When I first bought this watch, I thought the white o the dial would light up well in the dark.
Unfortunately, the luminosity in the dark is rather dull. It’s not a deal breaker, but the watch would be nearly perfect if that were the case!
Who is the Henry Jay Specialty Aquamaster for?
The Henry Jay Specialty Aquamaster is great for professionals because it is highly versatile.
It can be worn to the office, to the gym, on hot dates, and even formal events like weddings.
I’ve worn my Henry Jay to each of those events and have received a ton of compliments and attention. In fact, I’ve even gotten a date because of a girl that commented on the watch!
Final Verdict On The Henry Jay Specialty Aquamaster
Overall, I’m a big fan of the Henry Jay Aquamaster.
I think it’s a great, high quality and classy watch. In fact, I can’t believe they haven’t raised the price on this thing!
They could EASILY sell this watch for $200 or $300+
Oh well, I guess this just means guys like you and me can look a lot sharper now 🙂
