The Omega Speedmaster is one of the classic watches of the Omega collection.
It’s claim to fame came about from the infamous Apollo 13 mission. As many of you know, the Apollo 13 moon mission was abandoned halfway through due to an oxygen tank explosion.
The watch was used to time a 14-second fuel burn maneuver that proved critical in returning the crew back to Earth.
Ever since then, the watch as been celebrated as a big part of American history and Omega has capitalized on this legend.

I LOVE the stunningly beautiful black dial and the bold minute/hour hands. And this watch comes with a silicone band, which means it can be worn in a more active setting (like hiking).
